Not many salons in the area will. Cats are groomed slowly, one at a time, with no dogs in the room. Bath or waterless dry bath, brush-out, nails, and a tidy where it's needed.

Most groomers buy their products. I make mine. The line is called DOWG Essentials, it's plant-based, and I built it to fix what I kept seeing on the table: dry Florida coats, itchy skin, curls that mat the second they hit humidity. Every groom at ZenSpawt uses it exclusively.

Your dog waits in a glass suite at the front of the salon, not a wire cage in the back. Fresh towels are washed on site. And it's me on the table, every appointment.

Salt, sun and sand
Juno Beach is paradise for a dog and hard on a coat. Here is what I see most, and what the groom does about it.
Salt water
Dries the skin and strips the natural oils that keep a coat soft. The hydrating shampoo and conditioner are built for exactly this. Rinse with fresh water after the beach when you can.
Humidity
Curly and long coats tighten and mat in the damp. Regular brushing at home and a groom every four to six weeks keeps matting from becoming a shave-down.
Sun
Thin-coated and light-colored dogs burn, and every dog's skin dries in it. Between visits, the mask treatment puts moisture back where the sun took it.

I moved here for my daughter. I stayed for the dog beach.
I bought a house in Juno Beach so I could be near my daughter. The first time I walked the dog beach, I said out loud that I wanted to be near the dogs. That is the whole reason the salon is here and not somewhere else.
I've been grooming for twelve years. Somewhere in there I stopped being satisfied with what was on the shelf and started making my own: shampoos, conditioners, a mask, colognes. I tested everything on my own dogs first. Now it's on yours.

Puppy's first groom
From 8 to 16 weeks. A short, gentle appointment built around getting used to the table, the water and the dryer, so every groom after this one is easy.
Bring the rabies record. Puppies get the sensitive-skin formula.
Before you come in
A few things that keep every pet in the salon safe.
Vaccinations
Every dog needs a current rabies vaccination. Bring the record to the first visit or text a photo of it ahead of time.
Matted or very dirty coats
Coats that arrive matted may need a de-matting fee or, if the mats are close to the skin, a shorter cut than planned. That call is made with you, never without you. It's the groomer's judgment, and it's always about what's comfortable for the dog.
Anxious dogs
Very welcome. Tell me when you book and I'll build the appointment around a slower pace. Aggressive dogs can't be accepted, for everyone's safety.
Senior dogs
Call ahead. Older dogs get shorter sessions, extra breaks and a time of day when the salon is quiet.
Puppies
Accepted from 8 to 16 weeks with a special puppy appointment. See puppy's first groom.
Cancellations draft wording
If you need to cancel within 24 hours of your appointment, please reschedule instead. Appointments cancelled outright inside that window are refunded at 50%.
